The Municipality organises in regular time intervals a distribution of food and primary necessities in order to support poor families.

Twice a year the Municipality participates in the conduct of raising money organised by the Hellenic Red Cross.

When it is necessary, it organises or participates in humanitarian events which aim at the aid of populations who suffer from war, natural destructions and poverty.
